Irene's Blog
My
name is Pal and I am a lab mutt (mostly lab) and I have been adopted by Irene
and Jim Gaffigan. Of course, I am now in the process of training them, so things
can be done my way. I am 3 years old and was brought to the Lucy Mackenzie Humane
Society in May - my old owners couldn't keep me any longer, I liked everyone at
the home and made a lot of friends, but I was looking for just the right people
to go home with. One day Irene and Jim came to visit - I played it real cool (didn't
want them to think I just had to go with them) and next thing I knew they came
to pick me up.
I love riding in the car and sitting with them on the couch and really enjoy our walks together in the evenings. I really love the way they talk to me and go wild when they stroke me on my stomach - Jim is pretty impressed that I can sleep on my head with my paws up.. I also like to be hugged and hug back. Jim is usually around and I can get anything I want from him (he is a mush). Irene is a little tougher, but I know she loves me and will eventually give in - which she does.
Irene is a Realtor for Farm Town Realty in Proctorsville, Vermont - I think that is pretty neat, I keep trying to tell her to take me with her when she meets her clients and customers, but so far no luck (I'll keep trying though). I mean, when you think about it, who can resist my face and I am so good. The other good thing is that I am a true Vermonter - I was born here; that has to count for something.
Irene has this neat office in the house with a couch, which I just love to sit on - I just fit. This way if she needs my help I am right there (it is also close to the front door).
I am going to tell all my friends to tell their families that if they are looking to buy or sell real estate in the Okemo Mountain area they should call Irene - after all I do have to eat!
